Smart phones, smart televisions, smart catalogs, what next? It may seem like a hot sales keyword just to attract attention, however, it is not. We were tasked to build a catalog that performed several duties, instead of it just being a nice to look at web page. Something that was client and agent interactive, something that could be for every industry type and not just retail.

As mentioned in another paragraph, we have an additional catalog called "Selling Now". This catalog is very similar to PIL Markets main catalog, however, you can use it to make bigger changes to items without having to effect the original item entries. You can also add once off items that you have up for sale that you do not want to appear in your main catalog. This will stop your main catalog from getting clustered with dirty data and, stop you from having to make major changes to an original entry.
Almost every website has a contact us page. It's just a standards part of a website deliverable. But what does your contact us page actually do for you besides send you and email, and if you are lucky, an SMS as well?
We saw an additional opportunity to make a contact screen work for marketing with very little human intervention. From the smart catalog, at any time, you can tick items that you want the client to see as a CC recipient on the email. The email will thank the client for contact you and at the base of the email advertise what you selected from the Smart Catalog. This is yet just another way of being very informative and proactive.
